Originally from the Bronx, New York, Vallea is a graduate of Northwestern University. She has been performing in and around Chicago for almost a decade. Vallea’s credits include work with Tony Award Winning actors at Ravinia in addition to roles with BackStage Theatre Company (including a stint at the New York International Fringe Festival), Open Eye Productions, the American Girl Theater, Healthworks, Stage Two, The Factory, Light Opera Works, Quade Productions at the Royal George, and Chicago Opera Theatre. Vallea has appeared in Ragtme, The Life, The Wiz, Little Shop of Horrors, Children of the Light, Shepherd in the Storm, We Can Rise, several productions of Blue Nativity, two Haunted ‘L’ productions, and The Wizard of Oz, Me, the Devil, and Other Friends and Everything’s Sexy, 2, Circle of Friends, The American Girls Revue, and Hair to name a few. Adept in production as well as performance, Vallea also acts as Marketing Director, Fundraising Events Coordinator, House Manager, and Production manager for several theatres on a regular basis.
